Afghanistan World Foundation

The mission of the Afghanistan World Foundation (AWF) is to provide multilevel broad-based support at the grass roots level pursuant to the Afghan National Development Framework (NDF) mandate. AWF action programs are based on high priority survival needs in Afghanistan such as education, economic development and emergency health services, hospitals, mobile care systems, and enhancing social opportunities for Afghan women and children.

American Board of Plastic Surgery

The mission of The American Board of Plastic Surgery, Inc. is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and maintenance of certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.

American Breast Cancer Foundation

The American Breast Cancer Foundation was established in 1997 as a way for people to have access to early detection and a chance for survival. Each year, we receive thousands of calls from women and men in need of our help. Approximately 50 percent of those callers will already have symptoms of breast cancer. The American Breast Cancer Foundation is able to provide financial assistance and hope when all seems lost. We are the only national breast cancer organization providing direct financial assistance to uninsured and underserved individuals for the screening, diagnosis, treatment and survival of breast cancer.

American Medical Association

The American Medical Association helps doctors help patients by uniting physicians nationwide to work on the most important professional and public health issues.

American Society of Peripheral Nerve

ASPN was established to stimulate and encourage study and research in the field of neural regeneration, to provide a forum for the presentation of the latest research and relevant clinical information and to serve as a unifying authority on all areas of neural regeneration and restorative neuroscience.

American Society of Plastic Surgeons

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) is the largest plastic surgery specialty organization in the world. Founded in 1931, the society is composed of board-certified plastic surgeons who perform cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
The mission of ASPS is to advance quality care to plastic surgery patients by encouraging high standards of training, ethics, physician practice and research in plastic surgery. The society advocates for patient safety, such as requiring its members to operate in accredited surgical facilities that have passed rigorous external review of equipment and staffing.

Southern California Chapter American College of Surgeons

The SCCACS is responsible for attaining the objectives of the American College of Surgeons within Southern California region. These include elevating the standards of surgery, establishing a standard of competency and character for practitioners of surgery, providing a method of granting membership in the organization, educating the public and the profession to understand that the practice of surgery calls for special training and that the surgeon elected to Fellowship in this College has had such training and is properly qualified to practice surgery.
