Superior Gluteal Artery Perforator Flap

The SGAP Flap is ideal for those who do not have an adequate amount of excess abdominal tissue for other flap procedures such as the DIEP and SIEA. The breast will be reconstructed with the skin, fat and the tiny blood vessels taken from the gluteus area. A slight buttock lift results in the donor area.
