FaceTite is a new and exciting procedure many patients are seeking out as an alternative to a traditional facelift. FaceTite is a non-surgical “version” of a facelift that uses radio frequency energy to heat the skin, effectively melting fat, shrinking facial tissue, and reducing loose skin, stimulating collagen growth and making your face appear tighter and younger.
Which procedure is right for me?
Some patients may be better candidates for FaceTite or a facelift depending on the severity of their skin laxity. For patients with mild to moderate skin laxity, the lengthier recovery and scars that result from a typical facelift may be avoided through the minimally invasive FaceTite system. In addition to skin tightening, the FaceTite technique can also address fullness and excess fat of the face and neck if needed. FaceTite has a significantly shorter recovery period than a facelift.
FaceTite vs. Facelift results
A FaceTite procedure can result in noticeable improvement in fullness and laxity of the skin that can be equal to one-third the effects of a standard facelift. Patients with severe skin laxity or loose skin are better candidates for a traditional facelift. The effects of FaceTite are permanent and the results can last years. Many patients choose to combine FaceTite with other facial procedures or fillers. Patients may also consider FaceTite as an option to postpone a traditional facelift.
FaceTite is a minimally invasive no-scar facelift. With no sedation, less downtime, and no scarring, it can be a great procedure for patients wanting a more youthful look without more invasive surgery.
