More and more men and women are electing to have a Butt Augmentation, or Butt Lift, to address the loss of fat (and shape) of their buttocks.
Candidates for a Butt Augmentation/Lift
Men and women looking to add more shape to their behind, and/or those looking to improve the appearance of a sagging backside, may benefit from either a Butt Augmentation or Butt Lift.
While there are various methods and materials used for Butt Augmentation, there are two basic procedures; implants and fat grafting (popularly known as the Brazilian Butt Lift). Fat grafting to the buttock is just that; fat is harvested from the patient’s body, processed and purified, and then strategically re-injected into the buttocks.
If you are not satisfied with the contour or proportion of your backside, a Butt Lift may be able to help you achieve a more toned and youthful appearance. All procedures round out the upper and outer parts of the buttocks to improve the proportion and shape, as well as achieve a round, square, V or A-shaped behind. A Butt Lift can address a drooping behind and provide a more pleasing shape to your entire body.

Patients who have undergone a Butt Augmentation can typically return to work and social activities within 2-3 weeks following their surgery. Patients will need to avoid directly sitting down for at least 3 weeks to allow the buttock area to heal properly. A cushion should continue to be used to sit to allow for optimal comfort. Sports and exercise can typically be resumed after the first month of recovery.
