How Rhinoplasty Can Help

Cosmetic Rhinoplasty

Cosmetic nose surgery is performed to enhance the appearance of the nose, helping you feel more confident in your appearance. This type of surgery involves reducing or increasing the size of the nose, reshaping the tip, narrowing the nostrils, or altering the angle between the nose and upper lip. There are several types of rhinoplasty, or nose surgery, that can be performed depending on your specific needs and goals.

Functional Rhinoplasty

Functional nose surgery is done to improve breathing difficulties caused by a deviated septum or other structural issues in the nose, which can have a significantly negative impact on one’s ability to breathe and overall quality of life. This type of surgery may involve correcting a crooked septum or opening up the nasal passages to improve airflow, and Dr. Rogers will work closely with you to create a customized treatment plan.

Comprehensive Results

In addition to offering a range of facial surgical procedures, such as the facelift and rhinoplasty, Dr. Rogers and his team also provide a full range of non-surgical injectable treatments, many of which can be combined with facial surgery to deliver comprehensive results that go over and beyond your initial expectations. Dr. Rogers can help you explore these exciting options during your initial consultation.

Should I Think About Rhinoplasty?

Deciding to undergo nose surgery is a personal decision, and Dr. Rogers will work closely with you to help you feel sure that this procedure is the right one for you. Generally, candidates for nose surgery should be in good physical health and have no underlying medical conditions that may increase the risk of complications during or after surgery.

The patient’s nose should also be fully developed before the surgery is considered. Smoking can increase the risk of complications and slow down the healing process, so patients should be non-smokers or willing to quit smoking before and after the surgery, so that they can look forward to a pleasant and rapid healing process after the procedure.

The Rhinoplasty Procedure

Nose surgery, or rhinoplasty, is typically performed under general anesthesia. This means that you will be completely unconscious during the procedure and will not feel any pain or discomfort while Dr. Rogers performs his work.

The length of your rhinoplasty procedure will vary depending on the specifics of your treatment plan and the techniques Dr. Rogers uses to achieve your results. On average, rhinoplasty surgery can take between one and three hours to complete.

During the surgery, Dr. Rogers will follow the treatment plan that he created with you, either enhancing or reducing the size, shape, and projection of your nose. You’ll be able to return home after spending a short period of time in our recovery area.

Our team will set up a series of follow-up appointments with you to ensure you’re healing properly.
